NEET PG Result Cancelled: Overview
The NBEMS has released a notice confirming the cancellation of NEET PG result for 22 candidates. According to the official list, all scorecards issued to these candidates stand invalid. Any use of these scorecards for admissions, employment, or registration will be considered unlawful.


Why NEET PG Result Was Cancelled
Out of the 22 candidates, 21 results were cancelled due to the use of unfair means during the NEET PG 2025 examination. The NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee reviewed the cases and declared the results null and void.
Additionally, one candidate’s result was cancelled following the outcome of Writ Petition No. 5785 of 2025 before the Karnataka High Court. The NBEMS stated that such actions are necessary to maintain transparency and fairness in the postgraduate medical examination process.
NEET PG 2025 Exam Details
The NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025, in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres. More than 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in computer-based mode.
NBEMS deployed over 2,200 faculty members from medical colleges to ensure strict supervision and prevent malpractice during the examination. The NEET PG 2025 result was declared on August 19, 2025.

The cutoff scores for different categories were announced as follows:
- General / Open Category: 276
- PwD: 255
- SC / ST / OBC and PwD (SC/ST/OBC): 235
NEET PG Counselling 2025 Update
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is yet to release the official NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official MCC website for updates on registration, seat allotment, and reporting dates.
